Join us at 10 AM for “Farming The Waters” with Vernon Bryant, owner of the Bryant Crab Company and Captain Bryant Gunning Decoys. Vernon will join us to talk on crabbing, oyster farming, fish trapping as well as off season ventures such as duck hunting. This has been a way of life for centuries for many on the Upper Eastern Shore including some crop farmers whose lands border the waterways. The talk will start at 10am. The museum exhibits will open from 9 AM - Noon.

Join us for our annual plow day.  Bring your tractor or lawn mower with plow and be ready for some fun in the dirt.  If you don't have a plow come anyway to join in on the fun.  Event is weather dependent.  Check Facebook for the most recent updates.

Join us for a talk at 10 AM by Essie Shultz owner of Good Grain Bread Company as she presents "Baking with Whole Grains." Participants will familiarize themselves with a diverse array of whole grains and learn various techniques to incorporate them into sourdough baking. Essie will have examples of different grains both modern and ancient. She will be demonstrating milling, sifting and sprouting.

Join us for a class at 10 AM taught by Taylor Madron where they will talk about growing and using lavender and oils.  This will be a paid class where you will leave with a lavender sachet.  More details to follow.

Bring your antique tractors, trucks and cars to share with the public in our beautiful shaded showgrounds.  Demonstrators/Vendors welcome.  We will be making fresh apple butter that we will have for sale as well as vendors.
